Various woodland settings & indoors
JB Architects has been enjoying working on smaller cabin structures. Notably one for a school which is an outdoor forest skills learning room under a tree. As a lockdown project we have self-built and prefabricated pods for a live/ sleep/ wildlife retreat located on the edge of a wood. Apart from the external larch cladding and internal ply finishes this is formed entirely of recycled structural beams and ply and reuses roofing materials, window and doors collected from our previous built projects. Also shown is a playhouse prototype in recycled cardboard with LED lighting.
